TF Aintree goes the eggs-tra mile for Alder Hey

Team members from Total Fitness Aintree are collecting donated Easter eggs and craft supplies for Alder Hey

Team members from Total Fitness Aintree are collecting Easter eggs and arts and crafts materials for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

The team have volunteered to be a drop off point for customers, staff and members of the public who wish to make a contribution to the cause.

Plus, as a way of saying thank you, every donation will be rewarded with an access-all-areas free guest pass for the health club.

The collection will be in place until Good Friday, 14th April, when all donations will be taken to the Eaton Road hospital.

Mike Neale, General Manager at Total Fitness Aintree, said: “As a team, we always like to help in the community however we can. Our customers have already been dropping off a range of Easter eggs and we’re hoping to see lots more in the coming weeks. Anyone can call in and make a donation – you don’t need to be a member.”

Cath Harding, Head of Community Fundraising at Alder Hey Children’s Charity, said: “We are grateful for the support of staff and customers at Total Fitness in Aintree over the Easter period.

“Along with the collection of eggs, donations of arts and crafts resources will enable those children unable to eat chocolate due to illness, allergies or impending surgery to enjoy Easter whilst in hospital.”
