We’re diving into the New Year with a poolside makeover in Wigan!
We’re so excited to get started with revamping our poolside facilities at Total Fitness Wigan. Our aim is always to give you the best possible pool experience, which is why over the coming weeks, we'll be making some big changes!
We're investing massively in improving heat treatments, all three pools and so much more at TF Wigan to make a real difference to your club visit.
Here's what we currently look like!
Take at this video to see what's changing!
Here’s the refurbishment lowdown:
30th January – We’ll be working on the heat treatments and hydrotherapy pool / This will take 8 weeks
Next we focus on the family pool is getting a brand new liner, new tiling, new drain and grating / This will take 4 weeks
Finally, we focus on the main pool with new drain channels, grating and tiling, while the main pool shower is getting some new tiles / This will take 4 weeks
Our ‘to-do’ list:
Both our pools are getting a new set of tiles, so bright you might want to bring a pair of super-tinted goggles
Installing a brand new hydrotherapy pool with new touchpad buttons… perfect for relaxing after a workout.
Fully rebuilding the sauna and sanarium – ripping out the old ones and adding new benches.
Refurbishing the shower so warm and cold are both ready to go.
Adding some final touches to the steam room to make it easier to wind down after a hard session.
Where can I swim while this is going on?
While the refurbishment is underway, you can choose to swim at any of our other clubs including Walkden, Bolton, Whitefield and Preston.
If the pool is your main reason for coming to Total Fitness, during the refurb we’ll be running small group sessions to help get you more confident on the gym floor so you get more from your membership.
But what if I’m not a member?
