Kids Gym
Total Fitness is not just a gym for adults it is also a kids gym. We believe it is essential that children exercise as often as possible and eat a healthy, balanced diet to help aid their growth and development. Because of our beliefs you will find in a number of our Total Fitness health clubs a dedicated kids gym with gym machines designed for children. Each of these machines work in the same way as adult machines and look very similar, the only difference being the size of the machines, they are much smaller making it much easier for kids to use them.
In our kids gym you will find treadmills, cross trainers, bikes etc, all of which work in the same way as the adult equipment they are just much smaller and easier to use. Although we don't have the vast amount of equipment we have for adults in the kids gym we feel there is enough equipment to make sure your child is getting the exercise they need.
In a number of clubs we also have adult equipment in the kids gym so that you can workout with your child. We know a lot of people would prefer not to leave their children on their own while working out so we have placed a number of pieces of gym equipment in the kids gym so you can get a workout while your child is exercising.
Future Fitness Classes
As well as having a dedicated kids gym with smaller gym equipment we also offer future fitness classes, which are fitness classes designed for children.
Childhood obesity is extremely high at the moment and you can't get away from it on the news or in the papers so if you want to fell like you're doing your bit enrol your children in the Total Fitness kids gym.
Swimming Lessons
If you know you're child won't enjoy the Total Fitness kids gym have you thought about enrolling them for swimming lessons. At Total Fitness was offer a number of different types of children's swimming lessons and water based activities, they are not just for those children who can't swim.
