It seems that every day, news reports are highlighting that more and more kids are suffering the effects of being out of shape and with cases of child obesity on the rise, now is the time to think about your kids' fitness, and ways in which you can improve it.
The lifestyle of modern kids has undergone drastic change over the past 20 years or so. The advent of new technology such as computers and video games mean that more children are increasingly sat at home in front of the T.V, rather than engaging in more healthy activities such as playing sport and games.
As a result of this, the health and fitness of the nation's kids is suffering.
How can Total Fitness help improve my kids' fitness?
Here at Total Fitness, we are committed to helping your kids to improve their fitness levels. To help with this we run a series of future fitness classes that have been specially designed to help kids to get in shape, whilst at the same time having fun.
Our kids fitness classes are divided into 4 categories, namely Sport Zone, Game Zone, Pool Zone and Teen Zone.
Sport Zone Kids Fitness Classes - A series of studio-based classes, concentrating on sports-based games and skills. These kids' fitness sessions include two half hour games of sports, including football, hockey, dodgeball and volleyball. These high-intensity fitness classes are suitable for kids aged 4-12 years.
Game Zone Kids Fitness Classes - Concentrating on games like Table Tennis, Short Tennis, Space Hoppers, Skipping, Balancing and Parachute games, the game zone is a low intensity kids fitness programme. Junior members are encouraged to participate in a circuit format. Also suitable for kids aged 4-12.
Pool Zone Kids Fitness Classes - Swimming is one of the best ways to keep fit, making our Pool Zone some of the best kids fitness classes. Junior members have a choice of mini polo, swim fit or splash courses to participate in.
Teen Zone Kids Fitness Classes - For older kids, aged 13-14 offers an introduction into studio based activities including spinning, circuits, pump, combat and core stability fitness sessions.
